
Michael Goodmon
Executive Vice President
Michael Goodmon is Executive Vice President for Capitol Broadcasting Company. Michael and his brother Jimmy, along with their father Jim, are the fourth generation of the Goodmon-Fletcher family to help lead this forward-thinking company.
As Executive Vice President, Michael oversees CBC Real Estate, CBC’s Sports division, and CBC Family Office. Within CBC Real Estate, Michael has led the redevelopment of the American Tobacco Campus and Rocky Mount Mills as well as helped launch and scale the American Underground. Within the Sports division, Michael is responsible for CBC’s ownership and interests including the Durham Bulls (AAA), Holly Springs Salamanders (CPL), the Coastal Plain League, and the North Carolina Courage (NWSL). Michael also oversees multiple alternative investments including solar/alternative energy, passive real estate investments and breweries.
Michael is a passionate advocate for Durham and the Triangle, and serves on several boards to encourage growth, entrepreneurship and community development. His board service includes: AJ Fletcher Foundation; The Fletcher Academy; Leadership Triangle; Cristo Rey of the Research Triangle; and the United Way of the Greater Triangle. In addition, he was named chair of the North Carolina Entrepreneurial Council by Governor Roy Cooper.
He earned a B.S. in Mathematical Economics from Hampden-Sydney College and a Master’s in Trust and Investment Management from Campbell University.

Mark Stanford
Vice President
As Vice President of Real Estate, Mark leads the CBC Real Estate team and oversees over three million square feet of completed real estate projects and future development pipeline within the company.
Mark began his career at CBC in 2008 managing all office leasing and development/investment underwriting at CBC’s flagship project, the American Tobacco Campus in Durham, NC. He was later promoted to Director of Real Estate Development where he led CBC’s development efforts on office, hotel, and residential projects throughout the greater Triangle area.
A two-time graduate of UNC Chapel Hill, Mark received Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Business Administration.
Mark formerly served on the boards of the Carolina Theatre, Downtown Durham, Inc., and the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle and served as board treasurer with all three organizations. In addition, he is a 2012 Leadership Triangle Goodmon Fellow. Mark is an active member of the Urban Land Institute.

Eli Bell
Director of Asset Management
As Director of Asset Management for CBC Real Estate, Eli oversees the revenue and performance of CBC’s operating portfolio and leads the commercial and multifamily leasing teams. Eli joined CBC in 2017 and over his tenure has executed 150+ transactions with a cumulative value exceeding $300 million at the American Tobacco Campus, a 1.2 million-square-foot, award-winning, mixed-use historic renovation project.
Prior to joining CBC in 2017, Eli worked with Desai Hotel Group, where he worked on pre-development and underwriting for the company’s hotel projects across the Southeast.
Eli holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Mississippi State University. He is a licensed real estate broker in North Carolina and earned the designation of a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) through the CCIM Institute. Eli currently serves on the board of the Triangle Area Office Building Association (TRAOBA) as well as on the board of the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce.

Evan Covington Chavez
Director of Rocky Mount Real Estate
Evan Covington Chavez is the Director of Rocky Mount Real Estate for CBC Real Estate. Evan joined CBC in 2014 and has led the renovation and redevelopment of the 82-acre campus at Rocky Mount Mills from its inception. Evan leads all new development in the surrounding area and continues to oversee the operations of Rocky Mount Mills.
Prior to joining CBC, Evan held leadership roles at Habitat for Humanity of Wake County and Self-Help, a national community development financial institution based in Durham, NC.
Evan holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree from Dickinson College. Evan serves on the boards of the Rocky Mount Area Chamber of Commerce, Nash County Community College Foundation, President’s Advisory Council for Wesleyan University, NC Housing Coalition, and the Southeast Raleigh Board Promise Board.

Matt Honeycutt
Director of Development
As Director of Development, Matt Honeycutt leads the development and management of CBC’s real estate portfolio from acquisition through delivery and disposition.
Matt joined CBC in 2013 and has been instrumental in the development of CBC’s legacy projects at American Tobacco Campus and Rocky Mount Mills as well as the planning and development of the Bandwidth campus and MoJud Lofts.
Prior to joining CBC, Matt held roles at TradeMark Properties and BB&T Corporation (now Truist Financial).
Matt holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree and a Master’s of Business Administration degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Tar River Region and the NC Alliance of Boys and Girls Clubs.

Sherri LoSapio
Finance Director
Sherri LoSapio is the Finance Director for CBC Real Estate where she oversees all property accounting, corporate reporting, and financial planning & analysis. Sherri also services as the Finance Director for Capitol Broadcasting Company’s sports division, which includes the Durham Bulls minor league baseball team.
Prior to her current roles, Sherri has held numerous finance and accounting roles at Capitol Broadcasting Company since joining the company in 2006.
Earlier in her career, Sherri was a financial analyst at BASF and an audit professional at Price Waterhouse.
Sherri is a proud graduate of the University of Connecticut.

Isabel Marsigli
Commercial Leasing Associate
Isabel Marsigli is a Commercial Leasing Associate at CBC Real Estate where she focuses on office and retail opportunities at the American Tobacco Campus, an award-winning 1.2 million square foot mixed-use historic renovation project.
Prior to joining CBC in 2024, Isabel held roles in sustainable tourism and sales.
Isabel holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Human Organizational Leadership & Development from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

John Nelson
Development Manager
John Nelson is a Development Manager at CBC Real Estate where he is responsible for the development of both new construction and historic renovation projects across the Carolinas.
Since joining CBC, John has focused on The Thread and the Market District at American Tobacco, among other projects. Previously John was a developer with JBG SMITH, where he oversaw mixed-use projects across the Washington, DC region. Earlier in his career, John worked in corporate strategy and new product development at EAB, an education research, technology and consulting firm.
John holds an M.B.A. from UNC Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler Business School and an A.B. in Public Policy from Duke University. John is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, NAIOP, and ICSC and serves on Capitol Broadcasting Company’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) Council.

Eric Peterson
Project Manager
Eric Peterson is a Project Manager at CBC Real Estate where he oversees the design and construction of new development projects.
Eric has worked in the design and construction industry for over 20 years and has a broad range of experience across Healthcare, Life Science, Higher Education, Office, Multifamily Residential, Sports, and Historic Redevelopment sectors.
Before joining CBC, Eric held project management roles at Longfellow Real Estate Partners and Duke University Health System. Earlier in his career, he worked as a designer and technology lead at BBH Design/EwingCole and Cahoon and Kasten Architects.
Eric holds degrees in Energy and Sustainability Policy and Architectural Technology from Penn State University.

James Teza
Development Analyst
James Teza is a Development Analyst at CBC Real Estate where he works on the development of both new construction and historic renovation projects across the Carolinas.
Prior to joining CBC in 2024, James was a Development Analyst with Trinsic Residential Group, where he worked on the development of multifamily and mixed-use projects across the Triangle region.
James holds a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Management & Society from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
